Cantabria Study Trip 2023

The Cantabría school trip was the first visit of the academic year to Northern Spain, offering visits to 19th, 20th and 21st century architecture in a unique region renowned for its culture, biodiversity and climate.

Visits to Santander (including Renzo Piano's Centro Botin and GFA2's Naves de Gamazo belonging to Enaire Foundation), Bilbao and the city of Comillas (where Antoni Gaudí designed El Capricho and where the Antigua Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, designed by Lluis Domènech i Montaner, is set in a stunning oceanic landscape) were opportunities for the school to mix architectural visits with shared social and cultural experiences.
